Gas Turbine Users International - Members Only
GTUI meetings and all presentations will be conducted in English.
OEM presentations, whether to the entire GTUI or to a Roundtable, must focus on technical matters and
hold any sales oriented content to an absolute minimum. The focus must be on User issues and
solutions and be based on technical response to User needs.
OEM presentations should fully address User questions tendered either at the GTUI or in previous
sessions.
OEM presentations must be made available either as printed matter suitable for distribution to all
attending GTUI members (except other OEM’s) or (preferred) as a CD or other industry standard
electronic media suitable for distribution to all GTUI attendees (except other OEM’s).
Presentations at GTUI are not confidential and presentation documents must be distributed at GTUI.
Follow-up content may be posted on an OEM’s website if appropriate as long as access is provided for
all GTUI voting members.
OEM’s presenting at GTUI must ensure that all presentation materials intended for attendee distribution
are suitable for the public domain as GTUI has no control over attendees use of OEM materials after
the GTUI conference. OEM’s may show undistributed sensitive information during their presentations
with appropriate notice to attendees. Such sensitive information will not be a part of the distribution in
2d above.
GTUI will make reasonable efforts to monitor and restrict proper access to OEM presentations and will
prohibit unauthorized video and audio recording of any session, including Roundtables, as a condition
of attendance.
In addition to the above, the OEM may restrict access to their main technical presentation at GTUI.
Such access restrictions must have an agreed basis determined in advance and be known to GTUI
members in advance; not be used in an arbitrary fashion; and be discussed and agreed in advance
with the OEM Liaison Officer. Access to OEM sessions will not be arbitrarily denied to non-Users of the
OEM’s equipment provided that the person(s) in question is not a competitor of the OEM and does not
have a history known to the OEM or GTUI of using conference information in inappropriate ways.
OEM’s have no claim to nor may they assert any proprietary content limitation on attendee’s
handwritten notes and subsequent use of such personally generated information.
OEM’s cannot control attendance at Roundtables. OEM’s may discuss concerns about Roundtable
attendees with the Roundtable Chair and OEM Liaison Officer, but the final decision on attendee’s rests
with the Roundtable Chair.
Due to the assumed international attendance at any session, presentations and discussions should not
disclose any information that is subject to Export Controls (e.g., Export Administration Regulations of
the USA).
